Yin yoga can be described as a unique, slow-paced yoga style that consists of asanas or postures which are usually held for comparatively longer durations of time. As a beginner, one may be expected to do a particular asana for 45 to 120 seconds. The advanced practitioners are usually required to maintain a single asana for more than 5 minutes. A core level online yin yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh educates the yoga students to maintain these asanas in the correct manner to enhance their benefits.

The Yin yoga poses tend to apply medium to moderate stress on the various connective tissues present in the body, namely, the tendons, the ligaments and fascia in order to increase blood circulation in all the joints and enhance flexibility. Yin yoga advocates a meditative approach to the practice of yoga in order to cultivate inner silence and its awareness. It also helps in developing a universal, interconnecting element inside the soul of the practitioner. Therefore we believe Yin yoga is an essential part of yoga teacher training in Rishikesh.
